Ulla Edle vom Bohnenkamp (Minou)

Minou most certainly is the beginning of Sma-Isbjoern’s.

Originally I was just looking for a pet and of course a male cat – since I always have had male cats and also been happy with them – until now!

While I was sitting on the couch with the Kriewitz family waiting to look at “my” male cat he did not notice me at all. On the contrary he even ran away from me. Well the answer was quite clear: he did not want me! That is why I at first rather depressed drank my coffee. But what was that? Then a small black-white and cute “cow-cat”, as the breeders lovingly called her, came climbing on to my lap looking sooooo lovingly at me. She wanted to come along!!! The decision had been made. We found the box and pop! my small cow was in it. Apparently she had already packed and was prepared for the journey form Bremen to Hamburg.

Minou Minüchen or Püchen as I call “Ulla” did in fact choose me. We go through thick and thin together; every night she sleeps on my chest, she has done that for now 11 years. Minüchen left home and moved into my first own flat with me, she follows me with much love and understanding (so many other cats and kittens) through my/ours common lives.

I strongly hope we are yet to have many healthy and happy years together, because Püchen is and will always be the apple of my eye.
